Griffin Wrestling Camps

At Team Griffin Wrestling Camps we emphasize drilling to perfection. Our folkstyle techniques are based around the nationally renowned Granby System Wrestling. The skills and techniques taught will be drilled repetitively so that you can learn them, remember them, and be able to execute them. All holds will be broken down into segments to help you master all techniques faster. With a structured series of technique and closely supervised drill sessions you will be able to score with your techniques on the way to reaching your highest goals. We will show you how to take individual holds and put them together in a series that allows you to move smoothly from one attack to another. In other words, we give you a system of techniques that, when put together, gives you the ability to maintain an almost constant attack. This system isn’t just difficult to defend, it’s almost impossible to stop. It was this system that enabled Middletown High School to place fourth at the 2007 PIAA State Wrestling Tournament with four place winners, including the schools first ever State Champion. It’s a proven fact that this system of teaching not only works, but it works at all levels. So, let it work for you by signing up for the Team Griffin Wrestling Camps. YOUTH CAMP   JULY 7-9

This camp is a great opportunity for the younger wrestler. Learn wrestling from the fundamentals to advanced level techniques, in a safe, fun, and positive environment. This camp is for elementary wrestlers of all levels. Sessions from 10-12 and 1-3. Camp includes lunch and a Team Griffin t-shirt.  Cost is $100.00

TECHNIQUE CAMP   JULY 10-12

This camp is designed for all wrestlers regardless of age or experience level. Campers will be taught wrestling skills in all three positions (neutral, top, bottom). Wrestlers will learn techniques that work at all levels. Sessions from 9-12 and 1-4. Camp includes lunch and a Team Griffin t-shirt. Cost is $150.00

INTENSIVE CAMP   JULY 16-18

This camp is for the serious wrestler. The camp is designed to prepare the athlete for high level competition. Sessions will consist of high level intensity drilling, weight training, and live wrestling. Sessions from 9-12 and 1-4. Camp includes lunch and a Team Griffin t-shirt.  Cost is $150.00
